Command & W ckoses one finder window.
Command + option & W closes all finder windows

Is you have an app open and click on the desktop with option, the app hides…

  13. I have the need to type in Welsh so use the Welsh keyboard and no English keyboard as they are essentially the same with one difference. Holding the option key whilst typing an a, e, i, o, u, w, y (the 7 vowels in the Welsh language) I can quickly get â, ê, î, ô, û, ŵ, ŷ. However, there are also times when I'm typing in English and need certain accents such as cafe so option +7 (actually you have to type option 7 then the e) on the e gives me café! Other than that, the keyboard behaves just like any English keyboard (some of the $£ etc will change but option+shift will bring the original back in most cases). To avoid confusion, my actual physical keyboard is a JIS version (Japan specific keyboard).
